The hotel is ideally located in the centre of the old town of Zaragoza. We were only there for one night and we had booked an attic room - which was huge! As we were there for only the night it was ideal - very comfortable and spacious. However, I think for more than a couple of nights I would miss having a view. (There are windows in the roof that open and so you get light and air (and if you stand on a chair, a view - see photo!). In some other reviews, I have seen niggles about it looking a bit tired and things need repairing in the room - I have to say for what we paid, we thought it was absolutely fine and quite luxurious actually. Breakfast is served as a buffet and it was good - there was a reasonable choice of hot/cold food of varying types, so again we were happy with that. As there are roadworks being done outside the hotel (redoing the old street), we pre-booked our parking at the Indigo El Pilar car park - it was easy via the app and only a short walk away. If you do it on the app, it’s about the same price as you get through the hotel but at least it’s reserved. All-in-all a very nice stay and we loved Zaragoza. (The only reason it didn’t get a 10 was the rather unwelcoming staff on reception when we arrived - however the next morning there was someone else, who was much more friendly!)

This is a very good hotel in Zaragoza, centrally located in a beautiful historical building. The room (a double) was adequate in size, well equipped: minibar, electric kettle + coffee and tea bags, a nice assortment of glasses, large wardrobe, safe, very large TV. The furnishings, although showing a little bit of ageing, were classic which I liked. The lighting in room was very good, which is rare nowadays. There was a small balcony overlooking the towers of the cathedral, a very nice touch. My room was on the 4th floor, so I was not bothered by the early morning activities in the street below. You may like to ask for a room on a higher floor to avoid the street noise. The bed was large, but the bedding was not to my liking - too slippery, a touch too "plastic". The bathroom was large, with bathtub and bidet. There was a daily cleaning service but it can be of higher standards. Staff was polite and mostly helpful. The breakfast was superb for a 4* hotel, except the coffee from the coffee machines which was really very poor.

The hotel is located on a small plaza, with a beautiful church and fountain right out front. We had a 5th floor "attic" room, which was huge, with large bathroom that included both a jacuzzi bathtub and a separate, large shower. King size bed, separate little sitting area with comfortable chairs, and a walk in closet with lots of hanging space, drawers, and shelves. Also included an iron and ironing board, coffee and tea making facilities, bathrobes and slippers. Basically everything you could need. Very convenient walking location to most sites.

Lovely hotel room (had the loft at the top floor) with ample room to enjoy. I wish I had some friends there to utilize the living room for a glass of wine. The bathroom has two sinks and there is a walk-in closet if you plan to hold a debutante ball and need the space. You will be very happy with the space. Zaragoza gets hot in the afternoon and also mostly shuts down. I suggest going back to the hotel and getting a drink in the hotel lobby bar (just ask the front desk if no one is there, they will be happy to assist).

Great location, right by the Pilar, easy parking and loading. Breakfast was excellent. I was in the Air Force in the 80s and we frequently came to Zaragoza for weapons training. We stayed out on the base nearby but would frequent the town when off. It has changed significantly in 40 years but was a blast to visit again. Highly recommended, its not even on the Rick Steve's list. Speaking of which, another hidden gem on the road from Madrid to Zaragoza is the Monasterio de Piedra, STOP there, its awesome!
